Kent Johnson
Kent Johnson is passionate about solving Los Angeles' housing crisis in all of its capacities. His recent research completed at UC Berkeley focused on the architect's role in the creation of affordable and supportive housing in the area. Kent's extensive experience with exterior detailing and urban placemaking feeds his belief that architecture can deliver positivity for people's daily lives at a variety of scales. As a designer, he creates sensitive yet thought-provoking spaces that prioritize the legibility and beauty of construction. As a scholar, he seeks to spotlight the typical power structures that pervade the built environment.
