Katz Family Pavilion for Athletics and Culture
The Katz Family Pavilion for Athletics and Culture now stands at the heart of this 18-acre hilltop elementary school and religious campus. Its expansive roof captures sunlight, creating a bright and airy atmosphere for the thousands who play, study, and celebrate in the space. The building melds with the transformed landscape; with bi-fold glass walls opening to the north, natural ventilation and seamless access to the new Commons, Shalom Garden, and Plaza. Besides housing the school's athletic teams on a full-size basketball court with retractable hoops and backboards, it serves as a hub for outdoor education and considered one of the "premier event spaces in Los Angeles," accommodating everything from weddings and galas to conferences and summer camp activities.
